Daniel Whitehurst

Daniel Whitehurst, CPA, practices accounting in Longview, Texas. He brings 45 years of experience in accounting, taxation and investment management to his clients.
In addition to public accounting, Dan has served in executive officer positions for two East Texas banks with responsibility for trust and estate administration and investment portfolio management for both commercial bank and fiduciary accounts. He currently serves Texas Baptists as their outside consultant for church and minister tax matters and as a volunteer for the Institutions Audit Group. Past services include Treasurer of the Missouri Baptist Foundation in Jefferson City, Missouri, and as a member of the Finance Committee for Texas Baptist Men.
In these capacities, Dan has been affiliated with and a featured speaker for conferences with the Association of Baptist Foundation Executives, the Southern Baptist Business Officers Association, the Texas Baptist Ministry Assistants, the National Association of Ministry Assistants, the Texas Bankers Association and a variety of area estate planning and tax councils including Longview, Tyler and Austin.
Professional memberships are maintained in the Texas Society of CPAs, the Association of International CPAs and the AICPA Not-For-Profit and Tax Sections.
A Longview native, Dan is a graduate of Baylor University with a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting. Professional education continues through the Association of International CPAs; the Texas, Oklahoma and Missouri Societies of CPAs; the Philanthropy Tax Institute (Chicago IL); the American Bankers Association and the Texas Bankers Association.
